The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) provide breastfeeding information and support through their breastfeeding counselling services, however, they are not generally lactation consultants. Lactation consultants are health professionals who hold an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification and work in hospitals, child health services, or private practice.
